Editorial roles as Production Editor at Hairdressers Journal International (HJI) in May 2003, HJI Features Writer in April 2005, and HJI Business Editor in February 2007, led to being headhunted for the position of Deputy Editor at Creative HEAD magazine in June 2007 before a promotion to Editor in February 2008.

Working on all editorial and commercial content and print and online initiatives for the magazine and its market-related products contributed to the title scooping the 2009 PPA Award for Best Monthly Trade Magazine (the first hair industry magazine to win such an accolade). 

The role of Editorial Director for the brand from May 2009 saw the look and feel of all of the publishing house’s online and print fashion content developed, before creating the concept for, launching to market, and becoming Editor of Runway Magazine in 2009, a biannual showcase of hair and fashion as seen at the global seasonal runway shows.

Director of Seven Publicity from 2011-2023, an independent, PR and brand consultancy specialising in the hairdressing, beauty, and lifestyle sectors has led to this new venture in the fashion, hair, beauty, and lifestyle arenas, with the offer of exciting, concise copywriting and creative executions to excite and delight.
