My profile on session stylist Guido Palau, Tressed to Thrill, won Most In-depth Hair Feature at the 2008 Wella Hair Journalism Awards, where I was up against one of my heroes: Vogue’s Christa D’Souza, and judged by a prestigious panel including Anna-Marie Solowij (Vogue) and Alice Hart-Davis (The Tweakments Guide).
